Archives for the month of: June, 2012

I’m taking a weeks leave, hopefully I will come back with some tropical images to cheer up our winter.

I visited the Centre for Contemporary Photography on the weekend to see the Lost and Found Project which came out of the Japanese Tsunami.

A million salvaged photographs had been collected that has washed up after the tsunami, the exhibition had displayed them as a large collage covering a whole wall of the gallery. The emotion evoked  was very moving and fascinating. A truly beautiful exhibition. Follow the link if you want to discover more. Posters of the exhibition are available online donations accepted to assist the volunteer project.

I found this great bar in the back laneways of Melbourne, it was like an Italian secret, I will have to go back and get the name.

I found this take on street art with wonderful little frames mounted on a grungy brick wall. Do you like it color or black and white?

So I thought I would lighten it up with some different streetscapes from the safety of my car!
